Running a scheduled task immediately

You can start a scheduled task immediately, rather than waiting for its scheduled occurrence.

To run a scheduled task immediately

  1. From the left-hand pane, expand Picture of the Tasks icon Tasks and choose Picture of the Scheduled icon Scheduled.

  2. From the right-hand pane, right-click the task and from the menu, choose Run Now.

Notes

  • Performing a scheduled task will override the scheduled occurrence if the task is not set to recur. If the task is set to recur, the scheduled task will occur and any repeat pattern will remain unchanged.

  • If you have made changes to the task schedule, these changes will be applied before the task runs.
